El hombre recuerda distintos fragmentos de su vida y mientras mira el río concluye que aún le queda un largo camino en la vida.
The film depicts several natural landscapes of Ribera in Álava (Spain) while a male voice narrates the reflections of a man while he leaves the city behind and watches the mountains and the rivers. The man remembers many fragments of his life and while he sees the river he concludes that there is still a long road ahead for him in life.
El filme comienza con un hombre vagando por el campo. Encuentra a una mujer vestida de blanco y comienzan a besarse, hasta que eventualmente caen sobre el pasto. El hombre lleva a la mujer vestida de blanco a conocer a una mujer mayor que la rechaza y la hace huir. El hombre va en su búsqueda y nota que ella tiene patas de pato, él cae al suelo y muera mientras ella coloca un pequeño costal café cerca de su pecho. La película muestra después a un grupo de hombres cargando su cuerpo hacia su ceremonia fúnebre mientras la mujer mayor llora detrás de la procesión y la mujer de blanco observa escondida en una esquina. Cuando el cuerpo es dejado solo, la mujer de blanco se aproxima para tomar el costal café y desaparece.
The film begins with a man wandering in the country. He finds a woman dressed in white and they begin to kiss, eventually falling on the grass. The man takes the woman dressed in white to meet an older woman who rejects her and makes her leave. He goes looking for the woman in white and sees that she has duck legs, he falls and dies while she places a small brown sack by his chest. The film then shows men carrying his body to his burial while the older woman cries behind the funeral procession and the woman in white watches hiding in a corner. When the body is left alone, the woman in white approaches him and takes the brown sack back and leaves.
Después de una noche de tragos en un bar, Olga sale con un extraño y lo lleva a su hogar. Mientras tienen relaciones sexuales, ella ve la foto de un niño pequeño en la pared, y recuerda tocar el piano y divertirse con el. Después el filme muestra a Olga en el baño inyectándose drogas para después vagar por las calles bajo la influencia de narcóticos y alimentar a un perro con pan mientras continúa recordando estar con el pequeño niño. Olga regresa al mismo bar acompañada de una mujer y se emborracha; después de salir juntas hacia el hogar de Olga, empiezan a desvestirse y besarse. Olga ve la foto otra vez y empieza a llorar, esta escena es seguida por imágenes de ella recibiendo oxígeno en una ambulancia y después llorando a lado de la otra mujer, mirando la fotografía.
After a night of drinks in a bar, Olga leaves with a stranger and takes him home. While having sex with him, she sees the picture of a little boy on the wall, and remembers playing piano and having fun with him. Afterwards the film shows Olga in the bathroom injecting herself with drugs, wandering the streets while in the influence of the drugs and feeding a dog with bread while she keeps on remembering being with the kid. Olga then goes to the same bar with a woman and gets drunk, they leave together to Olga’s home and while they begin to undress and kiss, she sees the picture again and starts crying, this scene is followed by images of her receiving oxygen in an ambulance, and then crying again next to the other woman, looking at the picture.
El filme comienza con una mujer lavando sus manos y arreglando su cabello, después pone plantas en una canasta y camina felizmente por un sendero en el que recoge algunas flores. Un hombre (el cineasta) prepara su cámara en medio del campo, cuando de repente ve a la mujer y empieza a filmarla a la distancia. Después de varias tomas, el hombre se acerca a la mujer y habla con ella, para después irse juntos a un lugar más poblado. Cuando el cineasta deja su cámara y equipo en una banca, un grupo de gente sale de un edificio para perseguirlo con palos y horcas.
The film begins with a woman washing her hands and fixing her hair, she then takes some plants and a basket and walks happily through a path where she picks up some flowers. A man (the filmmaker) in the middle of the countryside is preparing his camera, when suddenly he sees the woman and starts making shots from a distance. After several shots the man approaches the woman talks to her and they leave together towards a more populated place. While the filmmaker leaves his camera and equipment on a bench, a group of people step out of a building to chase him with sticks and pitchforks.
En Noche Buena, un hombre lleva su automóvil a un mecánico para que sea arreglando mientras el camina por una ciudad. Mientras el mecánico trabaja en el vehículo, recibe una llamada telefónica que lo distrae, y después da el coche al hombre, diciéndole que está arreglado. Mientras el hombre está ya en el camino, el mecánico recuerda haberse distraído y no haber apretado los tornillos de la rótula del automóvil, lo cual pone en peligro la vida del conductor. El mecánico intenta contactarlo desesperadamente a través de la policía de caminos mientras imagina que si muere, él será considerado culpable. El conductor eventualmente pierde el control del vehículo y queda varado en un camino solitario, desde donde contacta al mecánico quien agradece a Dios que nada terrible haya pasado. El filme termina con imágenes de luces navideñas en la ciudad y un letrero que muestra la rótula.
On Christmas Eve, a man takes his car to a mechanic to get it fixed while he walks around a city. When the mechanic is fixing the car, he gets distracted by a phone call, then he gives the car to the man and tells him it is fixed. While the man is already on the road, the mechanic remembers getting distracted and not tightening the screws of the car's ball joint, which endangers the passenger's life, so he tries to contact him desperately through the road police and imagining him claiming that his death was his fault. Eventually the man loses control of his car and gets stranded in a lonely road, he contacts the mechanic who thanks God that nothing terrible happened. The film ends with images of Christmas lights in the city and a sign showing the ball joint.
El filme muestra a una mujer esperando en su casa, tocando música, leyendo y acordando por el teléfono verse con alguien. Ella ve a una amiga y le dice que su novio, un hombre llamado Javier, está fuera de la ciudad por negocios. Primero van a una feria y después a un bar llamado El Pez Rojo, donde escuchan a una banda en vivo y toman algunos tragos, eventualmente ven que Javier está ahí bailando con otra mujer. Se van y Javier se queda bailando, después aparecen diversas imágenes de letreros de clubes nocturnos. Después se ve Javier manejando por la mañana con la otra mujer y deteniéndose a fumar un cigarro mientras es visto por su novia y su amiga. Mientras la pareja discute, la amiga de la primera mujer golpea a Javier en la cabeza con un arma. Después el filme corta a una escena de la primera mujer despertando y abriendo la puerta a sus amigas, mismas que reclaman haberla esperado demasiado, a lo que responde que se quedó atrapada por una historia que estaba leyendo, implicando que todo había sido producto de su imaginación.
The film shows a woman waiting in her house, playing music, reading and agreeing to see someone over the phone. She meets with a friend and tells her that her boyfriend, a man named Javier, is out of town on business. They first go to the fair and then to a bar called El Pez Rojo [The Red Fish] where they listen to a live band and have drinks, eventually they see that Javier is there dancing with another woman. They leave and Javier keeps dancing, then a series of images of several night clubs signs appear. Javier is then seen driving in the morning with the woman and stopping to smoke a cigar, where he is seen by his girlfriend and her friend. While the couple fights, the friend of the first woman hits Javier in the head with a gun. Then we see the woman waking up and opening the door to her friends who claim that she has kept them waiting for too long, and she says she got caught up in the story of the book she was reading, implying it was all a product of her imagination.

Hace algunas tomas de elementos naturales y continúa jugando con la cámara junto con la niña, quien eventualmente toma la cámara mientras el patea la pelota lejos de ellos.
A small kid shows a sign that says "Rally-Cine" [Film Rally]. Inside a car he pushes a little girl aside and tears apart the sign. He then starts playing with a ball he finds in the car, and then returns to play with a camera. He takes some shots of things in nature, and then continues to play with the camera along with the little girl, who eventually takes the camera while he kicks the ball away.
Un hombre vaga por las calles de un pueblo buscando tabaco en botes de basura o en el camino. Al entrar a un bar, un hombre nota que está buscando algo, por lo que lanza tabaco al suelo y cuando el primero se agacha a recogerlo, el otro lo tira al suelo mientras todos en el bar se ríen de él. Al regresar al cuarto en el que vive, otro hombre se encuentra ahí descansando. Los hombres tienen una breve conversación sobre cuándo se irá el otro, mientras que este da una excusa y le pide algo de tabaco al primer hombre. El primero se niega y le dice que el tabaco es muy difícil de conseguir, provocando la ira del segundo, quien decide asesinarlo apuñalándolo por la espalda. Después de enterrar su cuerpo, vuelve al cuarto donde se siente culpable y después de llorar por un rato, decide suicidarse.
A man wanders the streets of a town looking for tobacco in trash cans or the road, he enters a bar and a man notices that he is looking for something, he throws some tobacco on the floor and when the first man tries to reach it, he shoves him to the floor while the rest of the men in the bar laugh at him. When he goes back to the room he lives in, there is another man there resting. They have a small conversation about when the man lying down will leave, he gives an excuse and then asks the other for some tobacco. The first man refuses and tells him it is too hard to get, provoking the anger of the second one who then he chooses to kill him by stabbing him in the back. After burying his body he goes back and feels guilty, after crying for some time, he chooses to kill himself.
Después de que su padre parte al trabajo, un pequeño niño debe llevarle pan y vino. Sin embargo, el niño se toma mucho tiempo vistiéndose y jugando con una botella en un lago. Su madre le pide apurarse y en el camino el niño bebe el vino y rellena la botella con agua, se esconde para ver a una pareja besarse, le da a su padre el pan y después interrumpe a unos niños jugando. Mientras juegan a esconderse, él se lleva a una niña lejos y la besa, para después seguir huyendo y esconderse en un establo momentáneamente. Al caminar hacia las vías del tren, piensa en todo lo que ha hecho, y se acuesta ahí con los ojos vendados pero al reflexionar sobre sus acciones decide regresar a casa con su madre.
After his father leaves for work, a little kid has to bring him bread and wine. However he takes his time getting dressed and playing with a bottle in a lake, then his mother prompts him to hurry and on the road he drinks the wine and re-fills the bottle with water, he watches a couple kissing, then he gives his father the bread and interrupts some kids playing, then while playing hide and seek he takes a girl far away and kisses her and he keeps running away, staying hidden in a barn for a while. Then he walks to the train tracks and starts thinking of all he has done, so he lays there with his eyes blind folded but after thinking about his doings he goes back home to his mother.
