Viewing Notes:

"A well-off middle-class young boy and girl are left in the house by their mother; the maid works downstairs. The children put aside their previous pursuits (playing the piano and drawing). The young girl dances a jig while the boy plays the piano for her. Her dancing is so energetic she brings down the ceiling light in the room below. They play outside with a toy car and with laundry. They play tricks on the maid by turning off the water and turning the oven on so a pan burns. As the maid sits reading `Hell and High Water' by Charles Wesley Sanders they turn the water on again and cause a flood in the kitchen. They play with their parent's car in the garage and drive the car down the drive where it smashes through the gates and goes down a hill. They return home to see water seeping out from under the door. They turn the taps off as mother returns." (EAFA Database)
