Biographical Notes:

"Roy was born in Easton, Pa., and resided in Livingston since 1950. He served in the Army during World War II and was a member of the Army band, playing all over Europe. Roy was an elementary school music teacher for many years for the Summit Board of Education. A drummer playing throughout the tri-state area, he was a member of the New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania musicians union. Roy was also an avid traveler and photographer, and won an award for an animated film [Candy Capers] at the Cannes Film Festival in the 1950s."
